Children’s Ministry Team Members
Children’s Large Group Leaders
Large group leaders will lead kids through songs, the Bible story and learning activities with the help of the small group leaders
Children’s Small Group leaders
Small group leaders will focus on application of the week’s lesson and building relationships with the children. Small group leaders will assist the large group leader in large group time.
Children’s Church leaders
Children’s Church takes place during the worship service and is for children in grades 1st-3rd. Children’s church leaders will lead the kids in songs, bible lessons, and learning activities that build on the lessons learned in the Bible study hour.
TeamKID leaders (Children and Preschool Wednesdays)
TeamKID takes place on Wednesday nights. The lesson time consists of large group songs, games, memory verses, and mission’s education. Kids will have a blast and so will the volunteers!
Preschool Bible study leaders
Preschool leaders will work with children age 2,3 or 4 year olds. There will be lessons, crafts, songs and learning activities.
First Impressions team Members
Parking Lot attendants (2 or 3 per service time)
The Parking Lot Attendants are responsible for directing traffic, greeting guests and members with a smile, answering questions, and security of the lot. The Parking lot attendants will be in the Parking lot 20 minutes prior to every service time or event. They will wear an orange reflective vest for safety and visibility.
Greeters (3 per service time)
Greeters will be stationed at the 3 entrances of the Worship Center. They will be responsible for a warm greeting and opening doors for guests and members, distributing the bulletin, answering questions, and pointing people to ushers. Greeters should report 20 minutes prior to each service time.
Welcome Center Attendants (2 per service time)
Welcome center attendants are responsible for greeting guests and gathering contact information, directing guests to the proper locations, and answering questions about service times and classroom locations. Those who work this vital ministry station will receive updates from the staff to ensure they have the necessary information to complete their tasks. Welcome center attendants should report to the station 20 minutes before each service time.
Children’s Guest Reception (2 or 3 per service time)
The Children’s Guest Reception will be stationed at the reception area located at the south end of the children’s building. Those who serve here will be responsible for greeting guests and members with a smile, helping them check-in, gathering contact information from guests, directing families and children to the proper rooms and service locations, and providing security for the building. Children’s Guest Reception should report for duty 20 minutes before each service time.
Wednesday Evening Food Service Worker
Food Service Workers will assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up the Wednesday Evening meal. The Wednesday evening meal makes it possible for families to join us for worship, prayer, Bible study, and leadership development by providing a convenient way to feed their families after a long day at work and school. It also blesses our senior adults with a midweek opportunity for fellowship.
The Hospitality Team member’s main responsibility is on Sunday morning through setting up the Guest Reception area. Additional duties include working on holiday and special events. The team’s goal is to ensure guests and members feel welcomed and valued which will encourage their return, and bring them closer to a growing relationship with Christ.
Worship Technology Assistant
The Worship Tech Assistant will work in the sound booth with both the soundboard and advancing worship slides during the song portion of the worship service. Training is available. Tech assistants are required to attend both the Sunday morning worship and rehearsals on Wednesday evenings.
